Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz Extra Firm Tofu
  • 3 Tbsp Corn Starch
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • ½ Tsp Black Pepper ground
  • 2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 Carrot brunoise
  • 1 Long Hot Red Pepper brunoise
  • 1 Orange Sweet Pepper or Bell Pepper, brunoise
  • 1 Yellow Sweet Pepper or Bell Pepper
  • 2 Bird Eye Chilies or Thai Chilies
  • 4 Green Onions both White and Green parts
  • 2 Tbsp. Garlic minced
  • Sesame Seeds garnish

Chili Garlic Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Press the Tofu to remove excess water
    14 oz Extra Firm Tofu
  • Cut tofu into medium pieces, and combine with corn starch, salt and ground black pepper
    3 Tbsp Corn Starch, 1/2 Tsp Salt, 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • In a pan over medium heat, add 2-3 tbsp of oil
    2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
  • Pan fry or Air fry until lightly golden, and remove to a paper towel lined papper to wick away excess oil.
  • Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
    1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar, 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce, 1 Tbsp. Red Chili Sauce, 1 Tbsp. Schezwan Chutney, 1 Tsp. Black Pepper
  • In the same pan, use remaining oil or add 1 tbsp of additional oil if needed, then add garlic, chilies, carrots, peppers, whites of the green onion, and bird eye chilies. Then add the fried Tofu along with the Spicy Chili Garlic Sauce. Stir to coat all tofu pieces with the sauce, and the sauce to thicken.
    1 Carrot, 1 Long Hot Red Pepper, 1 Orange Sweet Pepper, 1 Yellow Sweet Pepper, 2 Bird Eye Chilies, 4 Green Onions, 2 Tbsp. Garlic
  • Garnish with Green Onions and Sesame Seeds
    4 Green Onions, Sesame Seeds
  • Enjoy with Jasmine Rice and your favorite veggies!
