Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tomatillo
  • ½ White Onion
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Chipotle Chilies with Adobo Sauce
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Cut the tomatillos in half and place them face down on a baking sheet, along with slices of onion, and garlic cloves.
  • Broil until tomatillos are charred. Careful not to burn the garlic. Remove and set aside to cool.
  • Transfer the vegetables to the blender, add the chipotle chilies and adobo sauce, and blend to desired consistency.
  • Add Salt if needed.
  • Serve with Tortillas as a dip or as a condiment.

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. The flavors will intensify over time.
  • Make-Ahead: Prepare the salsa a day ahead to allow the flavors to meld together.
