  • Air Fry Tater tots at 400 F for 12-15 minutes.
  • In a serving tray add the chickpeas. Season them lightly with salt and red chili powder.
  • Layer the air-fried tater tots on top of the chickpeas.
  • Add Cilantro and Garlic Chutney.
  • Whisk the Yogurt well. Pour the yogurt all over the tater tots.
  • Drizzle the Apple Butter Chutney.
  • Sprinkle fine Sev and diced Red Onions.
  • Garnish with Pomegranate Seeds and Fresh Cilantro.
  • Serve immediately. Add more red chili powder, cumin powder, and chat masala if needed.

  • Crispy Tater Tots: For the best texture, air-fry or bake the tater tots until extra crispy before assembling the chaat. This helps them hold up against the chutneys without getting soggy too quickly.
  • Make Ahead: You can prep the chutneys and toppings in advance and store them in the fridge. This makes assembling the chaat super quick when you’re ready to serve.
