Instructions

  • Mix the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, egg replacer, and vanilla extract to create a creamy mixture using a stand mixer or in a bowl with handheld mixer
  • Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the bowl and continue mixing until a slightly soft Play-Doh consistency.
  • Stop mixing and fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips into the mixture with a spatula
  • Using an ice cream scoop, portion individual cookies onto a parchment lined cookie sheet
  • Preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until slightly browned on top
  • Once done, remove the cookie sheet from the oven allowing them to cool and the cookies to harden enough to remove from cookie sheet. Then place the cookies on a cooling rack for 20 minutes before enjoying.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Chill the Dough: For thicker cookies, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
  • Storage: Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • Freezing: Freeze the dough balls for up to 3 months. Bake from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
  • Baking Time: Adjust the baking time depending on your oven; keep an eye on the first batch to prevent overbaking.
